Skip

Color: Bay

Height: 15.1 hands
Gender: Gelding

Skip joined the program in 2012. In Skip’s earlier years he was trained to be a barrel horse. However, he wasn’t quite fast enough, so then he became a 4-H prospect. He has been shown hunt-seat in many of our local huntseat open horse shows. Skip is one of our go to horses for students who need sensory input. His motivated movement makes him an ideal ride for these students who have trouble staying on task. One of his favorite activities is to be groomed, so at turnout he will find the biggest mud puddle to roll in before coming in to ensure we have to spend extra time doing his favorite thing.
